Help Desk/Tech Support IIICompensation:
$17.10 to $19.80 per hour
Robert Half Technology has an immediate opening for a long-term Help Desk III Contract. This Help Desk III Candidate must have the highest level problem solving and support skills for computer hardware, software and smart devices. The technician should be capable of light programming and recommend suitable software to meet user requirements. They will be responsible for installing new and maintaining existing computer systems and mobile\\smart devices. They should also be able to provide education to staff in use of equipment. Essential Job Functions: ? Knowledge and experience for managing end user systems to minimize downtime and hands on visits to workstations. ? Ability to accurately managing IT asset inventory and software licensing compliance. ? Performing hardware repair and maintenance. ? Identifying and addressing complex usability problems. ? Ability to efficiently manage the deployment of a significant number of desktops/laptops by using industry standard tools, like MS Systems Center Configuration Manger, OSD, MDT, DameWare, LANDesk, and similar tools to minimize trouble calls, security risks, and in-person visits to workstations. ? Knowledge of data networking, wired and wireless. ? Demonstrable ability to effectively document procedures and IT systems.
MS Office 365, MS Windows 10, MS Windows 7, Active Directory Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: ? Excellent troubleshooting skills and help desk experience ? Strong desire and ability to learn; ? Possess excellent problems solving skills ? Understanding of basic server concepts, preferably with proven experience ? Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment ? Excellent communication and customer service skills ? Must be capable of lifting and transporting computer related hardware up to 40 pounds ?
