Agronomic Information AdvisorWe are looking for someone with a strong agricultural business acumen along with prior experience in Precision Ag that can build trusting relationships, articulate the value proposition clearly and can train colleagues and customers effectively. The role of an Agronomic Information Advisor is to increase Premier Crop Systems program revenue with Premier Growers by providing agronomy and precision ag advisory services to growers. ResponsibilitiesIdentify revenue growth opportunities within assigned geographyWork with meeting the grower s day to day information needsConduct sales appointments and enroll growers throughout assigned territories and determine agronomy needs, create solutions and build upon established relationships as well as define new long-term customers that will generate salesDevelop expansive network with assigned geography that will assist in lead generation for new PCS AdvisorsParticipates and assists with, upon request, sales strategies for retailer s grower accounts in the territory, including developing plans, identifying values, organizing grower retailer meetingsEnsure sales objectives are met, forecasted & aligned with financial objectives for assigned territoryExpense Management LocationThis is a remote role. Western Iowa or Eastern Iowa Education & Experience/SkillsBachelor's degree in Agronomy, Business or related fields, or two or more years experience in one of the following fields: precision ag, retail ag, crop consulting or equivalent combination of education and experience.Agriculture industry, farming practices and ag systems technologies knowledge and experience Preferred SkillsStrong presentations, communication, and interpersonal skillsMust be detail oriented, results focused and a self-starter with strong follow up skillsExceptional organizational and analytical skillsStrong business acumen and leadership skills CompensationPremier Crop Systems offers a competitive salary.
