Role Summary: The Infrastructure Sales Engineer (ISE) will pivot between capital and service sales for the Patient Monitoring infrastructure product portfolio. With subject matter expertise in Cardiac Telemetry, Networks, WIFI, WANs, DAS, and overall device connectivity, the ISE will support the Product Sales Specialist with the technical aspects of quoting infrastructure and improve point of sales contract attachments by developing and promoting compelling service strategies early in the sales cycle.
Essential Responsibilities: The ISE will partner with region DOSs and FEs to position and quote Network/Tele remediation, remote connectivity & service contracts. l commercial expert in the region to both the capital team (PSS) and service team (FE), and provide continuity back to ND&I. By covering two regions, the ISE can develop deep Clinical Engineering relationships within our installed base accounts.
Expertise in the infrastructure aspects of the Patient Monitoring portfolio Own the scoping / quoting over site of both capital and service offerings in the regions Train and coach the account community to ensure accuracy Interface to the DOS / FE's and ND&I teams as we transition to deployment Partner with DOS / FE's in customer escalations and CSO's to drive resolution Maintain technical, and product expertise to coach and develop the cross functional team.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or Technical degree A minimum of 5 years infrastructure experience Organized and detailed oriented - excellent customer facing communication skills: written, selling, and presentation Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills Self driven Experience in successfully navigating matrixed organizations Overnight travel ~40% of time
Desired Characteristics: Technical sales experience Experience in both service and new capital projects Experience with GE Patient Monitoring infrastructure Hospital experience - biomed or IT Project management experience Applicable Certifications (Project Mgt / Cisco / Aruba / etc)
